Hi, I'm Taylor Dishaw, owner and videographer at THM, born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a love for movies and the magic of storytelling. Whether it was watching films with my family or creating my own short videos with a simple camera, I was hooked on how powerful visuals could capture emotions and moments. This passion eventually turned into a career, and I’m proud to say that I’ve been behind the camera for over 10 years, continually growing and refining my craft.

My journey in videography started with capturing proposals—those unforgettable moments when two people say "yes" to forever. From there, I expanded into social media video creation for businesses, helping brands tell their stories in a way that connects with their audience. But in early 2024, I decided to take the leap and start my own business. I wanted to offer high-quality, reasonably priced videography and photography services to help businesses grow, make wedding days perfect, and capture life’s everyday moments in a cinematic way.

Before diving into videography full-time, I spent years in marketing and sales, which gave me valuable experience in understanding what people want and need—and that has really shaped how I approach my work. Now, I get to do what I love every day, and I couldn’t be happier.

As a stay-at-home dad, I’m fortunate to balance my passion with my family life. My wife, Olivia, is not only my biggest supporter but also the brains behind the business side of things. She’s the one who keeps me organized (a task that’s more challenging than filming a wedding), handles the books, and makes sure everything runs smoothly.

Together, we have two beautiful daughters, Evelyn and Eloise, who inspire me every day to approach life with creativity, joy, and an appreciation for the small, meaningful moments.
